Terms of Use

Effective September 27, 2026. These terms apply to IframeTester.net, maintained by Shay from the United States. Using the site means you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, stop using the service. Questions can be sent to hello@iframetester.net.

What the service provides

IframeTester.net offers public-URL framing diagnostics, browser iframe previews, embed-code inspection and generation, sandbox-permission helpers, Content Security Policy guidance and related articles. The tools are for troubleshooting and planning. They do not certify that an embed will work in every browser, account, network or production environment.

Acceptable use

Use the service only for lawful purposes and public URLs you are entitled to test. Do not submit private-network targets, credentials, access tokens or sensitive links. Do not try to bypass another website's access controls or framing restrictions, scan internal systems, overload this service or destination websites, interfere with other users, or use automated requests that evade rate limits or other protective controls. We may limit, block or suspend abusive traffic to protect the service.

Third-party pages and previews

The destination you test remains a separate website. We do not control its content, availability, cookies, redirects or security rules, and a diagnostic verdict does not grant permission to frame, copy or republish it. Follow the destination's terms and any applicable rights or licensing requirements. A live preview loads that destination in your browser; use only URLs you trust.

Generated code and your inputs

You may use and adapt code snippets generated by the tools for your own projects. You are responsible for reviewing their accessibility, permissions, security settings, performance and suitability before publishing them. You retain any rights you hold in URLs, messages or code you enter. You grant us only the limited ability needed to process a requested server-side URL check or a contact message you choose to send, as explained in our Privacy Policy.

Developer endpoint

External API access is disabled by default. If we enable it for an authorized client, access requires a server-side key and remains subject to rate limits and security controls. Do not expose a key in browser code or share it without permission. We may change, limit or discontinue an endpoint or key to protect the service. No uptime or long-term API compatibility commitment is offered.

Accuracy and availability

Remote websites can change their headers, content, redirects and authentication requirements at any time. Results may be incomplete or become outdated immediately. Header inspection cannot reproduce every browser-side condition. Verify important integrations in the actual embedding site and supported browsers. We may change or interrupt the service for maintenance, security or reasons outside our control.

Responsibility and liability

The service and its content are provided as available, without a promise that they are error-free or fit for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by applicable law, IframeTester.net and its maintainer are not responsible for losses caused by reliance on a diagnostic, a third-party destination, or an integration you publish. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

Changes and contact

We may revise these terms as the service changes. The effective date at the top will be updated for material revisions. Continued use after updated terms take effect means you accept them. Contact hello@iframetester.net with questions about these terms.
